Better looking in person than the pictures show December 29, 2011

This daybed ensemble is much better looking in person than the picture shows. The colors are rich and deep. It looks very nice setup on my daybed. However, the outer material of the cover is a bit on the slippery side. And if you don't want a sheen to your bedspread don't get this set. The picture doesn't show this sheen. I only gave it 4 stars as there were these 4 - 2" long set of stitches spaced evenly down the center of the cover. They detracted from the looks of the cover as they were very obvious. The thread used was gold and it stood out from the darker colors of the cover. I have no clue why they were there so I am guessing it was to sew and hold the top and bottom parts of the cover together to keep them from slipping out of square with the polyester in between. (Looking at it, I am thinking the stitches could easily be removed with a seam ripper without hurting the cover if it bothers you). The underneath of the cover is a pretty solid gold color and is a nice soft percale. It matches the gold braid trim on the edges.

This was a pretty cover visually, however the materials were so cheap and slippery they don't sit well on the bed, no weight to the fabric or the comforter.
