Pretty but . . . March 15, 2012

The cover set is pretty as pictured, and I am happy with its look in my guest room. Size is the issue. The pillow cases are fine; however, the cover and skirt fit without a centimeter to spare. Because the cotton fabric, though nice, is not high quality, it is certain to shrink when washed. When it shrinks, the cover will no longer cover the daybed completely. Therefore, I am taking great care to keep the cover clean, never allowing it to be used as a blanket. When I do eventually wash it, I will use only cold water and (somehow) air-dry it.
